Mahreen Haq is a multi disciplinary digital artist. Her work explores altered realities, blending modern art techniques and building up intuitively on photographs she takes of the world around her. Mahreen travels through places capturing their impact on her sensibilities. "Cities Speak and I listen - My work captures that voice - A voice that stays with me for as long as the endless search for self continues”.

In the artist's words, "I never begin with a preconceived idea because in my experience it slips away the moment I start adding additional layers on the screen. It is through furthering my dialogue with my art that an image starts to forge in my mind".

Mahreen starts with a photograph of an every day moment transforming it into something extraordinary. The depth of layers and the interplay of saturated colors pulls you into each work and immerses you in her universe.

Mahreen splits her time between London, Toronto and Lahore.

Haq works on commissions, her work has been steadily gaining interest and acquisitions among private collectors around the world.
